When you are selling on Shopee, you need to set up the shipping methods. It includes Shopee Supported Logistics (SSL)  and Non-Shopee Supported Logistics (Non-SSL), and Non-SSL is not an option that all sellers can enable. This article will tell you what Non-SSL is and how to apply it.

 

What is Non-Shopee Supported Logistics

There are two types of shipping options in Shopee, Shopee Supported Logistics means the third-party logistic partners, they have integrated with Shopee to provide sellers fast and reliable shipping services to buyers.

Non-Shopee Supported Logistics are also called Non-SSL, which means the third-party logistics providers that have not integrated their system with Shopee. If you sell virtual products on Shopee and you don’t need to ship items, or the Shopee supported logistics cannot meet your demand, then you can use the Non-SSL.

Regarding Shopee Non-SSL, you should know the following precautions:

• You will not be able to print the waybills from the Shopee seller center.
• Shopee will not support dropoff, pickup option and package tracking.
• You need to ship the goods yourself and fill in the tracking number in the Shopee order.
• The shipping fees are determined solely by the agreement between you and your own courier company.
• You can enter a flat shipping rate for each item, but the shipping fees will not be increased if a buyer purchases multiples of the same product.
• You are also required to ship packages on time, the orders with Non-SSL.

 

How to apply Non-SSL?

Now Non-Shopee Supported Logistics (Non-SSL) application only includes the following categories:
Virtual Goods: No Shipping Required
Others (West & East Malaysia): Seller's Own Fleet and Other Logistics Provider

Other shipping channels are only available for selected sellers on Shopee, you need to submit an application via the form here. Here is an example of other shipping channels for Shopee Malaysia, here you can see Others (West & East Malaysia) and Virtual Goods.



To facilitate the evaluation process for your application, you are required to provide the necessary supporting evidence. For example, if you apply for the Virtual Goods shipping channel, you need to provide the valid product link and valid identity card. For other shipping, you need to provide a valid product link, the logistics provider you use and view Shopee article.

Please note that sellers with Shopee Non-SSL are required to maintain a high level service standards including:

• Consistent order volume
• Satisfactory product and seller reviews
• Low Non-fulfilment Rate (NFR)
• Provide proper shipping documents for "Others (West & East Malaysia)" shipments, that may be submitted in the event of any disputes
