Impressive Numbers! TikTok Shop Vietnam Site Has Nearly 2 Million Orders Per Day

It is reported that so far, Vietnamese people spend an average of 1-2 hours browsing TikTok every day and have purchased 1-2 million orders through TikTok Shop.
On December 23, TikTok Vietnam representative Nguyen Lam Thanh participated in a symposium organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA).
According to Mr. Thanh, hundreds of thousands of content creators and millions of videos are currently posted to the platform every day. This includes entertainment, educational content, and product description videos to support sales services.
"TikTok has a very crowded 'market' as it has tens of millions of users. There are tons of interactive live streams that attract up to 250 million likes, and there are over 2 million content producers on the platform ready to produce content for sale,” Mr. Thanh revealed.
He added that through TikTok Shop, Vietnam successfully sells 1-2 million orders every day.
Mr. Tran Quoc Bao, head of the E2E channel at Kido Group, said that in Vietnam, 80% of people use the Internet, and 71% use social networks. In terms of social networks, while Facebook and Zalo are still the two main platforms, TikTok is growing rapidly and is likely to swap places with the above two platforms.
“Online shopping has become popular, with different forms of e-commerce such as live streaming shopping, sales-related social networks (social commerce), and now the concept of combining shopping and entertainment (Shoppertainment). Just 18 months later, TikTok Shop It has surpassed Lazada and become the second largest e-commerce platform in Vietnam,” said Mr. Bao.
