A survey by Lazada shows that 58% of Vietnamese consumers believe that online shopping is convenient, saves time and effort, so they will continue to shop on e-commerce platforms.

Generation Z (post-95s and post-00s), who account for 30% of the total number of consumers, are the new main consumer force that creates new trends, leads new trends in the consumer market and quickly keeps up with online shopping trends. They are a consumer group that sellers cannot ignore.

Multiple research results show that up to 85% of Generation Z learn about products through social platforms, e-commerce platforms or websites, and 72% of them are willing to spend more money on shopping in their daily lives.

The survey also shows that Shopee is their preferred shopping platform, accounting for 91.5%, and the rest are Tiki, Lazada, Facebook or brand official websites.
