In 2023, Shopee Live's traffic and sales reached new highs. Shopee Malaysia recently announced that in 2023, more than 1 million Malaysians will register on Shopee Live and watch live events. As of now, there are more than 450,000 new sellers, creators and alliances on Shopee Live



In addition to the traffic explosion, Shopee Live's sales growth also hit a new high. In 2023, the income of 80,000 sellers will increase by 25% year-on-year. In addition, the number of alliance orders will increase by 420% year-on-year, and the number of live broadcast orders will increase by 500% year-on-year.



Shopee Malaysia head of marketing Kenneth Soh said apart from Shopee Live, Malaysians can also connect with sellers through seller chat and SPX logistics services. It is reported that seller chat is a function that allows pre-sales and after-sales support to be provided to buyers. SPX is Shopee's own logistics fleet that provides customers with reliable pickup and delivery services.



In 2023, Malaysians interacted with local influencers as many as 3.5 billion times on Shopee Live, with the platform recording 1 million local streaming registered users since its inception in 2019.

Today, Shopee Live has become a key channel for Malaysians to discover locally made products. Compared with the previous year, sales generated by new local sellers through Shopee Live increased significantly by 10 times in 2023, and order volume surged by 16 times.
