Pre-order products are products that sellers require a longer time to prepare inventory for, and the shipping days can be set for 5-10 working days. Pre-order products are usually customized or require special processing, and they will be labeled as "Pre-Order" on the storefront display.
As consumers prefer products with shorter delivery timeframes, pre-selling products may have a certain impact on the store's conversion rate. Therefore, Shopee requires sellers to maintain a low quantity and proportion of pre-order products. At Shopee, there are corresponding restrictions on pre-selling products,
For regular sellers: Pre-order products must account for less than 20% or the quantity of pre-order products must be less than 100. Exceeding the pre-order product limit requirements will result in punishment.
For preferred sellers: The pre-order ratio that can be set for each site is different.
The Pre-order feature (Release Date) on Lazada allows customers to place orders for products before they are officially released.

Step 4: Pre-order settings
1) In the process of creating a product, the payment method must be selected as 【online payment】, only products with 【online payment】 can be preordered.
2) Fill in relevant product information, in the 【Settings】 option, choose 【Full Payment】 (currently only supported full payment presale), set end time and shipment time.

Ship the order in the seller centre on Shopee/Lazada/TikTok.
