1. What are pre-order products:

Pre-order products are products that sellers require a longer time to prepare inventory for, and the shipping days can be set for 5-10 working days. Pre-order products are usually customized or require special processing, and they will be labeled as "Pre-Order" on the storefront display.

2. How to set up pre-orders on Shopee

As consumers prefer products with shorter delivery timeframes, pre-selling products may have a certain impact on the store's conversion rate. Therefore, Shopee requires sellers to maintain a low quantity and proportion of pre-order products. At Shopee, there are corresponding restrictions on pre-selling products,

For regular sellers: Pre-order products must account for less than 20% or the quantity of pre-order products must be less than 100. Exceeding the pre-order product limit requirements will result in punishment.

For preferred sellers: The pre-order ratio that can be set for each site is different.

How to set up Shopee pre-order:

Method 1:
1. Enter the seller center >> my product page and click on the product to enter the product details page.
2. At the bottom of the page, select whether to enable pre-order:
If set to "No", the shipment days for that product will be set to 3 working days by default.
If set to "Yes", you can set the shipment days within a certain range by yourself.

Method 2:
Create or edit pre-order goods in BigSeller.

3. How to Set Up Pre-Order on Lazada

The Pre-order feature (Release Date) on Lazada allows customers to place orders for products before they are officially released.

Setting up Steps: Go to the “Offer” section in the backend and fill in the “Release Date”.

Note:
The pre-order period cannot exceed 30 days, or otherwise the listing will be sold out.

Pre-order ratios: For LazMall merchants, the pre-order ratio is 20% of products, while for non-LazMall merchants it is 10%, with a maximum of 100 items.

Once a buyer places an order for pre-order, the seller cannot cancel the order, or it will be considered a seller error; The seller must fulfil the pre-sale order within the pre-order SLA, and if the item is not shipped within three working days after the “Ship Lead Time” set by the seller, the pre-sale order will be automatically cancelled.

4. How to Set Up Pre-Order On TikTok:

Step 1: Open the seller backend.

Step 2: Choose the 【Product】 module, click on the 【Create Product】 option.

Step 3: Core process: 【Create Product】-【Pre-Order Settings】-【Complete Product Creation】

Step 4: Pre-order settings

1) In the process of creating a product, the payment method must be selected as 【online payment】, only products with 【online payment】 can be preordered.

2) Fill in relevant product information, in the 【Settings】 option, choose 【Full Payment】 (currently only supported full payment presale), set end time and shipment time.
