It is reported that Indonesian e-commerce giant Tokopedia is cooperating with Instagram to strengthen its e-commerce business, unlike the previously reported cooperation with TikTok Shop.



"GoTo" director Patrick Sugito Walujo said the company has entered into a trial partnership with Instagram parent company Meta.

“Meta, Instagram has a feature for live streaming, so you can go live on the Tokopedia app and Instagram,” said Patrick. “We started trying to work together a few weeks ago.”



The GoTo and Meta teams are also constantly improving the synergy between Tokopedia and Instagram.

“Maybe soon we'll see the results,” Patrick said. Tokopedia previously partnered with Meta Indonesia to provide marketing solutions to sellers by introducing collaborative advertising capabilities. This allows sellers to advertise products on Instagram or Facebook to target the market more specifically.
