Shopee Opened The Largest Logistics Sorting Center in Philippines

According to Philippine media reports, Shopee's logistics SPX Express officially opened its largest sorting center in the country to provide more seamless and efficient distribution solutions.
"With over 25,000 square meters of warehouse space and cutting-edge technology, the state-of-the-art sortation center is able to automate operations and process over 3 million packages per day, transforming order fulfillment into a more optimized process for more efficient distribution," SPX said.
Martin Yu, head of SPX Express, said the opening of the latest sorting facility enables the company to expand service coverage to wider regions and communities.
"Effective delivery solutions are the bridge between sellers and buyers. We are committed to improving the excellence of our operational services to ensure seamless logistics and provide Filipinos with an overall enhanced shopping experience. Most importantly, our goal is to allow more citizens to enjoy the benefits of online shopping and ultimately help them participate in the country's growing digital economy," Yu said.
Sorting centers are a critical step in a package's journey, he said, as this is where packages are sorted into their delivery areas.
He said the newly opened sorting center targets shoppers from the National Capital Region, Metro Manila, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The facility is equipped with technology features that make the sorting process faster and more efficient.
