Data Shows that TikTok Shop Indonesia’s Sales Reached 1.1 Trillion Last Month

According to a latest study, in February 2024, TikTok Shop Indonesia's sales were IDR 1.1 trillion, with a market share of 22.4%.
Among them, Shopee's sales were IDR 3.2 trillion and its market share was 64.2%, ranking first.
Meanwhile, Tokopedia had sales of IDR 631 million and a market share of 12.3%, and Blibli had sales of IDR 60 million and a market share of 1.1%.
Furthermore, sales of the chocolate sub-category on TikTok Shop reached almost 200,000 units in the days leading up to Ramadan, according to the same study.
Compared to other platforms, Shopee sold 704,000 products during the same period and Tokopedia also managed to sell 115,000 products.
In the past month, the number of e-commerce sales of sweets and beverage products on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Tokopedia has increased by as much as 75%.
According to the study, the products currently being purchased in large quantities are chocolate drinks, spreads and packaged chocolate.
