It is reported that since last year, Lazada has continued to launch the Choice model (fully managed) in Southeast Asia to seize the low-price market.
The concept of full managed comes from Temu. For sellers, it can free up operations and focus on goods. For consumers, this means ultra-low prices.
Similar to Temu, Lazada Choice sources its products primarily from China. The exception is Indonesia, where Lazada must source products from local sellers due to the country's regulations prohibiting cross-border e-commerce.
The first site of the Lazada Choice channel was the Philippines, and was later launched in markets such as Malaysia and Indonesia.
According to reports, in recent days, in order to attract Choice sellers in Vietnam, Lazada has also adopted incentives such as 0% commission, quick refunds, and outstanding products.
The initiative is called Lazada Choice Shop, but it's unclear whether the company is offering the service in other Southeast Asian markets.
