From December 16, 2024, Shop Tokopedia will update its SFP (Program Ongkos Kirim) service fee calculation rules. This adjustment not only changes the way service fees are charged, but also has an important impact on sellers' cost structure, especially for multi-item orders and high-priced items.
Under the current rules, Shop Tokopedia's service fee is calculated based on 4% of the total order amount, but there is a service fee cap of Rp10,000 per order. This means that no matter how many items are included in the order, as long as the total service fee does not exceed Rp10,000, the service fee paid by the seller is fixed.
The new service fee rules will reflect the value of each item more finely and introduce a service fee cap of Rp20,000 per item. Specifically:
