Indonesia Lifts Suspension of TikTok's Operating License

The Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Digital Technology (MCDT) has officially lifted the suspension of TikTok's operating license. The decision to lift the suspension came after the digital platform submitted the requested data to the government.

The lifting of the suspension of the Electronic System Operator Registration Certificate (ESO Registration Mark) was announced by Alexander Saba, Director General of the Digital Space Supervision Department at the MCTDT, via a written statement at approximately 11:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Based on a comprehensive analysis, the MCTDT concluded that TikTok has fulfilled its obligation to provide data.
