Recently, the data analysis website Similarwed announced the traffic data of major e-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia in December 2023 (including web pages and mobile terminals). The most eye-catching one is Shopee. Not only does it rank first in terms of visits to each site, but it also has a relatively high month-on-month growth rate.



Among them, the number of visits to the Philippines site in December increased by 5.7% month-on-month, and the growth rate of visits to the Singapore site was as high as 7.5%. At the same time, Shopee also has a clear advantage in terms of average user visit duration.



In Malaysia, the average visit time of Shopee users is 8 minutes and 55 seconds, which is significantly higher than the second-ranked Lazada. At the same time, the user bounce rate is only 33.06%, lower than Lazada's 43.16%.



The Malaysian site is not an exception. The same scene is happening in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian sites. In addition, it is worth mentioning that in December 2023, the total number of visits to Shopee's six major sites in Southeast Asia was 584 million, a significant increase from 509 million in the same period in 2022, with a growth rate of 14.7%.
