Starting 1 November 2025, Lazada will be revising its commission rates for both Marketplace and LazMall sellers. Lazada Marketplace Commission Rate Update
To help sellers, especially those who are new to e-commerce, Lazada is introducing a fairer commission structure that supports growth during the early stages of selling online. This change aims to lower entry barriers, allowing new sellers to focus on building their product listings, learning the platform, and gaining traction before commission fees apply.

Effective Date: 1 November 2025
The revised commission rates will take effect for all Marketplace sellers starting this date.

Applicable To: All Marketplace Sellers
This update covers individual and business sellers operating under Lazada’s Marketplace model (non-LazMall).

Commission Start Date: After 120 Days of Joining Lazada
To give new sellers time to grow their store, Lazada will not charge any commission for the first 120 days. Beginning day 121 onwards, sellers will start incurring commission fees according to their product category.

SST: Subject to 8% Service and Sales Tax
The commission fee is subject to Malaysia’s 8% SST, which has been in effect since 1 March 2024.

Exemption for New Sellers
All new Marketplace sellers joining Lazada after the policy takes effect will enjoy zero commission fees for their first 120 days. This helps reduce upfront costs and encourages new businesses to explore online selling without immediate financial pressure.
