Be Prepared! Shopee Philippines Will Usher In Four Major Fees Policy Changes

Shopee Philippines will be adjusting some important updates aimed at enhancing the sellers’ selling experience on Shopee. Starting June 1, 2025, all sellers will benefit from SpayLater’s 0% interest on the entire site for 1% monthly payments, which will be offered to all buyers every day! Offering SPayLater at 0% interest means it’s more affordable for customers, in line with Shopee’s commitment to providing a better shopping experience.
The platform will also continue to offer 0% interest on 3-month installments during key periods to help sellers maximize their best performance. This means buyers can enjoy their purchases immediately and pay within 3 months - at no additional cost.
Starting June 1, 2025, Shopee Marketplace commissions will be updated. This update enables the platform to continue to invest in new tools, features and platform enhancements to support seller growth and improve the overall buying experience. Note that there is no change in the commission rate for Shopee Mall sellers.
For all local and cross-border mall sellers using Shopee-supported logistics, the standard platform shipping rate will revert to 5.6%, which remains at 100 pesos per item per completed order to match industry rates.
This adjustment was made after careful consideration and will enable Shopee to continue to provide programs and initiatives that help sellers grow in the long term. Note that platform shipping rates apply to all orders, including orders with seller-defined shipping promotions. With this fee, sellers can expect that their buyers can enjoy various initiatives and programs to improve satisfaction and conversion, such as Free Shipping discount vouchers.
Shopee Philippines local store released the latest information that the fast shipping program and the 1% commission discount for eligible sellers will be discontinued from July 1, 2025.
Sellers must submit any disputes related to performance between April 16 and May 15 by May 22 in order to continue to enjoy relevant benefits in June.
