How to Appeal for Prohibited Item Listing

To appeal a forbidden item listing, first determine the cause for the restriction, and then study the platform's policy on prohibited items. You can then perform the necessary actions, such as updating, delisting, or deleting the listing or uploading supporting documents.

If you believe the ban was unjustified, you can appeal by offering a clear explanation and relevant supporting evidence.

(1). Take Action First:
  • Edit, Delist, or Delete: Based on the violation, you may be able to edit the listing to comply with the policy, delist the item, or delete the listing entirely.

  • Upload Supporting Documents: If the violation involves intellectual property or requires proof of authorization, gather and upload the necessary documents.

(2). Appeal (If Necessary):
  • Provide a Clear Explanation: If you believe the ban was a mistake or if you have taken corrective actions, clearly explain the situation and why you believe the listing should be reinstated.

  • Include Supporting Evidence: Attach any relevant evidence, such as invoices, permits, or other documents, to support your appeal.

  • Stay Professional: Maintain a professional and respectful tone throughout the appeal process.
