According to official information from the Department of Trade and Industry's Electronic Commerce Bureau (DTI-ECB), Filipino sellers must apply for the E-Commerce Philippine Trustmark by December 31, 2025 (originally scheduled for September 30), to meet government compliance requirements.
Under the DTI Department Administrative Order No. 25-12, all sellers are required to register for the Trustmark. This will prevent your sales on the TikTok Shop platform from being affected. Stores that do not obtain a valid trustmark may face sales restrictions.
The Trustmark is a permit issued by the Department of Trade and Industry E-Commerce Bureau (DTI-ECB) to e-marketplaces, online merchants, e-retailers, digital platforms, and third-party platforms that allows them to operate e-commerce.
It indicates that the things you offer online are compliant with applicable Philippine laws and standards, and it communicates to customers and regulators that your store is reputable, legitimate, and trustworthy.

The DTI-ECB has made it simple for sellers to apply for the Trustmark. Simply go to trustmark.dti.gov.ph, complete the online application form, and submit the necessary papers. If your submission was successful, you should be able to retrieve your Trustmark from the system.
Upload required documents:
The trustmark must be prominently displayed in a visible location on your digital storefront or seller profile. On TikTok Shop, you can display the trustmark in two ways:
1. Displaying the Trustmark on your shop page
2. Displaying the Trustmark on your account profile
