The situation differs slightly among different age groups. Among adults under the age of 30, a significant portion are opposed to the ban. Their support for the ban has been limited and their views have remained largely unchanged. Among people over 30 years old, the proportion of people who support banning TikTok has dropped significantly, which shows that older people's views on TikTok have gradually become more objective over time.
In addition to the loosening of public opinion, the recent ban on TikTok in Montana, USA, was also rejected. In May this year, the governor of the state signed a comprehensive ban on TikTok. Unwilling to give up, TikTok immediately fought back and sued the state at the U.S. Federal Court.
At the end of November, the lawsuit had preliminary results, and the U.S. Federal District Court announced a suspension of the ban, which meant that TikTok got a breathing space in the United States.
