These two certifications are regarded as a guide and guarantee for Filipino consumers, ensuring that they are purchasing products that comply with the regulations of the National Bureau of Standards (PNS) and meet the standards of quality and product safety.
It is worth mentioning that the Philippine Bureau of Standards has previously launched a compulsory product certification program, requiring 111 product categories including household appliances, chemical products, and steel, whether locally manufactured or imported, to be equipped with PS Or ICC logo, otherwise it cannot be sold in the Philippine market, and this sweep of online products is based on this regulation.
