Lazada Says That The Warehouse Fire Will Not Affect Package Deliveries

According to Indonesian media, Lazada management stated that the fire that broke out in the Jemundo logistics warehouse in Sidoarjo County, East Java on the 8th did not affect package delivery.
Lazada Chief Logistics Officer Philippe Auberger said his team was committed to minimizing the impact of the fire on customer service.
“We are working hard to ensure that Lazada Logistics’ operations in Surabaya do not stall and continue to deliver parcels without interruption,” Philippe said in an official statement on Saturday.
“Customer satisfaction, security and comfort of the Lazada Indonesia online shopping experience are always our top priorities,” he added.
In addition, Philippe said Lazada has coordinated with the police to investigate the cause of the fire. However, the specific cause of the fire is not yet clear.
"There were no casualties as a result of this incident. We are currently working with local authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident," he explained.
