Example: Seller sets a daily order handling capacity of 500 orders

1. Normal order range (1× capacity)

• Orders 1–500 follow standard fulfilment deadlines

• No extensions are applied

2. Extended SLA range (up to 3× capacity)

• Orders 501–1,500 receive a 1 working day fulfilment deadline extension

• Sellers get extra processing time while fulfilment metrics remain protected

3. Order cap reached (3× capacity)

• Once 1,500 orders are received in a single day

• The shop will temporarily stop accepting new orders

• Products will automatically appear as “Sold Out” until the next day

This tiered structure prevents fulfilment overload while still allowing sellers to maximise sales during periods of unusually high demand.

How to Set Up the Order Handling Capacity Tool

Eligible sellers can configure the OHC tool directly in TikTok Shop Seller Centre by following these steps:

1. Log in to TikTok Shop Seller Centre

2. From the left-side menu, click Manage Orders

3. Select Fulfillment Settings

4. Locate Order Handling Capacity and click Set Up

5. Click Edit and enter your Daily Order Handling Capacity


 

6. Toggle on “Fulfilment SLA Extension”


 

Important: If the Fulfilment SLA Extension toggle is not enabled, orders that exceed your daily capacity will not receive any fulfilment deadline extension, even if OHC is set.

The SLA extension will apply to orders placed from the following day after activation.
