Can Seller Have Multiple Accounts in Lazada?
Short answer: Yes, you can have multiple Lazada accounts, but there are strict limitations and hazards. The Lazada Terms allow you to register and utilize the platform, but they prevent you from utilizing numerous accounts (fraud, promotion abuse, circumvention). Serious misuse can result in suspension or permanent bans.
Certain services, such as LazPayLater / buy-now-pay-later, require only one Lazada account per user and will ban or deactivate accounts that appear to be multi-account applications.
How to Create Multiple Lazada Account?
1. Prepare a unique email address (Gmail, Outlook, etc.). Lazada requires an email for registration and verification.
2. Use a different phone number (local SIM that receives SMS). Lazada uses SMS OTP, and some features lock a phone number to an account/wallet. If you don’t have a second SIM you can:
- buy a low-cost prepaid SIM
- in some countries use a secondary number service (but this can be risky — platforms may block virtual/VoIP numbers).
