Recently, Shopee Philippines announced the launch of the "buyer self-pickup" option. Buyers can go to the pickup point to pick up items within 7 days of receiving the notification now. This feature is automatically open to all sellers.

Currently, this feature is only available for orders with a value not exceeding Php 2,000, weight not exceeding 5 kg, and size not exceeding 30 cm. Buyers need to pick up the package within 7 days, otherwise the package will be returned to the seller. The time for picking up the package is based on the business hours of the pickup point selected by the buyer.

At the same time, buyers cannot return problematic packages directly at the pickup point and must first go through the return/refund process. If the buyer fails to collect the package in time, the package will be returned to the seller. If it is not the seller's fault, the seller can apply for a refund of the shipping fee.

In addition, delivery man can refuse to accept packages picked up by buyers under certain circumstances, such as packages worth more than Php 2,000, weighing more than 5 kilograms, and measuring more than 30 centimeters, the repeated orders (different orders have the same logistics number and logistics bill of lading), or the package or logistics bill of lading is damaged and the logistics bill of lading does not have the SPX self-pickup mark.

In October this year, Shopee Philippines also launched a new feature seller service platform. Sellers can handle all operational issues in one stop in the seller service platform, without having to search for application forms or reply to emails. According to reports, the seller service platform currently has two major sections, namely "self-service tools" and "my cases". Sellers can use self-service tools to find and use common self-service forms.
